The Lost Interview

Ok, so everyone knows that since Steve Jobs passed, everybody has been digging up information on him, but one thing has been missing since 1995. In 1995 PBS did an interview in the miniseries Triumph of the Nerds. Only 10 minutes of the 70 minute interview was used. All of the raw footage was lost. The missing footage has been found on a VHS copy of the interview that was stored in the documentary director’s garage. It had been sitting there collecting dust for years

In two weeks, this lost interview will be shown in movie theaters in only 19 cities for a limited time only. Below is a link to more info on Steve Jobs: The Lost Interview.

Meanwhile, there has been more "lost" footage dug up with Steve. Below is a link to a 50 minute interview that has been lost and recently been published on YouTube:

Now, for all of you who cry wolf, fear NOT, Sony Pictures is still going to be releasing a Steve Jobs movie based on Walter Issacson's biography, though no release date has been set. Below is a link to more info on the Steve Jobs movie:

  1. Well this was sure interesting - I had no idea! The first thing I did was click the link, and find the theaters. The second thing I did was pull out my calendar... is Nov. 16-17 Thanksgiving week or weekend?? Maybe we could plan to go see it together at that theater closest to you! But no....:( It's the week BEFORE Thanksgiving week. Now why did they do that? Phooey! Thanks for sharing the info though. Who knows, after they run it at the major theaters, maybe it will trickle out to the little markets.

  2. I wonder if some of the Lost Interview will make its way to YouTube via a sneaky person with a good video feature on their phone (like the IP4s). We should at least hear some reviews about it.

Maybe we could all go see the movie when it comes out!

  3. Yep, I am going to go see The Lost Interview with Dryden, and that would be GREAT if we all went and saw the Sony pictures one!
